PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING AND FOLLOW CAREFULLY

DO NOT USE BACK ARROWS DURING THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS.  YOU WILL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE AND IT WILL LOCK YOU OUT OF THE MODULE!!

  1. Navigate to our home page: www.newmanu.edu
    • Click "Quick Links" - found in the top right part of the page
    • Click "Advanced Standing"

  2. Scroll down to the Summer Registration section
    • "View Course List" will give you the summer course options
    • "Register Today" will take you to the Registration Portal

  3. Click on "REGISTER TODAY" then on the "Advanced Standing" at the top of the page (Do not enter username/password YET)
    • From the box “Select Advanced Standing as your Location” choose Advanced Standing.
    • Choose NU (for classes on campus) or ONLINE (for online courses).  
    • Click “Let’s Begin”.

    • Scroll down to find your course selection.
    • Click on Newman’s class title.
    • Click on the box - "Sign Up"

    • Verify this is the correct course.  If YES - click on "Check out", or "Browse more Classes" to add an additional course.

    • If the course is NOT correct, click on the "Remove" button.
  4. After clicking "Check Out", you will need to add your personal information.
    There are two choices: I Have an Account or  Create a new account

  5. If you already have an account:
            NOTES:
    • All previously enrolled students have a JetStream account.  Information was mailed/emailed at the time of enrollment.  
    • The username is last name + student ID #.
    • The password will have to be changed on the first sign-in.
    • You can use the “Forgotten Password” tab if you don’t remember your password.  The information will be sent to the email on file with us.

      STEPS:
    • After entering your username/password you will be directed back to the Shopping Cart displaying the selected course(s).
    • Click the “Checkout” button
    • Review course selection once more
    • Click “Next” to pay
    • Free/Reduced Lunch recipient?  See your HS counselor for the approved coupon code and apply now (a letter from the State may be required for verification)
    • Click the “Submit Payment” link to pay using a credit card

    • Enter credit card information

    • Follow the directions given.

      (the system will ask you to verify more than once). PLEASE NOTE: credit card information is NOT stored.
       

If you do not wish to pay by credit card then you will need to click on Alternate Payment Arrangements. (If you do not choose a payment type, your enrollment does not go through).  Follow the directions given.

  • If you do NOT already have an account:
    • Create a New Account (first-time enrollment with Newman University; complete all information for required government reporting and for communicating with you).  Once you’ve entered your information then click register.
    • Click the “Checkout” button
    • Review course selection once more
    • Click “Next” to pay 
    • Click “Submit Payment” link to pay using a credit card
    • Enter credit card information (the system will ask you to verify more than once).  PLEASE NOTE: credit card information is NOT stored.
